The accounting assistant will provide support to the Corporate Accounting Manager and the CFO. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, account analysis, entries and reconciliations, reporting of cash information and generation of reports for budgets, forecasts and actual results. You will also be required to provide back up in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Your background will include a minimum of 2 years experience along with a post-secondary education in accounting. In addition you are actively working towards a CGA or CMA designation. You must have good attention to detail, be well organized and work to meet deadlines. A good working knowledge of MS office products, particularly Excel is necessary as well as familiarity with accounting software packages. |
